Why not write for Vector?

If you’re into science fiction, and looking for an outlet for some non-fiction, you might like to consider Vector, the critical journal of the British Science Fiction Association (BSFA). When I first decided to actually write rather than dream, I approached Vector who just want good writing, not reputation.

I was after some fresh ideas for a story project, so thought I’d flick through my Opening the Creativity Diamond and latched onto the random stimulus technique. I dug out the random images I’d produced previously and then thought – why not refresh them for 2020? Great news is they’re all here for free!

So, here we are in another decade (as indicated by the digit, ignoring pedantry about 1s and 0s), and time to take stock. The past few years have had some notable moments, but my writing probably needs a bit of redirection. Now’s the time to set a new course!
